I've always favored writing stories about darker, honest issues that don’t shy away from making you laugh. Sometimes it’s about queerness, race, mental illness, an unimagined future — and sometimes it’s about a 3 AM trip to Waffle House. Stories matter, and the way we tell it matters, whether that’s just giving someone a reason to laugh, or challenging our own status quo.

MILLENNIA
A colorful, satirical, and scathing 60 minute dark comedy/drama about a generation, for a new generation of television. (Isn’t coping with a collapsing world through dark comedy is just about as millennial as we can get?)
progeny
Ugh, another superhero thing? Okay, gimmie an unbiased opinion.
I’ve got you, dude.
"When I first read “Progeny”, I knew immediately this project had to be made. The fact that Progeny is a female lead superhero movie is bold enough given the current state of film, but what was truly remarkable was the intelligence, whip-smart dialogue, and the original and superbly crafted world that the film and its characters inhabits. A story that is both entertaining on the exterior and thought provoking the deeper one digs, “Progeny” combines elements from industry stalwarts such as “Wonder Woman” and “Guardians of the Galaxy”, with the world weariness and pathos of “Logan”, but all the while maintaining an originality rarely seen in the genre. A rare gem in the world of cookie cutter superhero projects, “Progeny” is an essential film that speaks eloquently to, and directly resonates with, a demographic that can’t get enough of this type of content." — Richard Hocutt, Producer (Gone Are The Days)
PROGENY is a sci-fi ensemble drama movie or mini series with a diverse cast of characters. A superhero who has lost her way struggles to overcome addiction and grief in the wake of a political revolution.

concept trailer coming soon
Zoe and Miles are the grown up 90’s kids facing a collapsing economy and an evolving social scene. Throughout the series, Miles and Zoe journey through the struggles of every generation as they build their futures the way they want to see it despite the hands they were dealt — all at the price of their conscience.
Our duo’s primary cast of characters — while at times absurd — remains their pulse in this bright, contradicting world full of grief, addition, debt, healthcare, bad sex, good sex, nostalgia, #veganism, identity, sexuality, generational trauma, [redacted], and boyband battles.
SAVANNAH
Short adaptation dropping soon.
dir.: Neil Karunatilaka
SAVANNAH is The Big Chill for the next generation. At its core is humor, heart, and the scathing reality of mental illness, complicated families, and queerness. It's about falling in love and having hope even in the darkest moments of your life. For me, this feature is a love letter to our regrets. It's a chance to forgive, and the importance of forgiving. I truly hope I get to share it with you.
A struggling daughter reunites with her father, brother, and a childhood friend at her family summer home in Savannah, Georgia after the attempted suicide of her estranged mother leaves her in a coma. Comedy, Drama. The Big Chill meets The Descendants.
